The Titanifacts app provides you with a link to the widest range of resources, interesting facts and at its heart, is the previously unseen documentary, ‘Titanic Island’. App features: Documentary – Titanic Island (over 30 mins of story, interview and engineering marvel!) Titanifacts – interesting facts from the era of Titanic News – what’s going on in the world of Titanic Events – things to see and do related to RMS Titanic Blog – interesting features and stories from the wider Titanic community Interactive Map – showing some key points from the site of Titanic’s Dock on Queens Island in Belfast Gallery – unique images from Titanic’s construction Una Reilly, Chair of Belfast Titanic Society said this of the Documentary: Congratulations on the footage! It is excellent and flows beautifully. All the interviews are very informal, interesting & personal. I love where you have sited interviewees, in their specific areas close to the remnants of Belfast’s golden age. Dr Apsley at the 'Piano', as it was known in the Thompson Dock Pump-house, is magical. “From ships to chips" relating today’s advanced developments on Queens Island is priceless, it was 'the' quote of the entire documentary. Each person's approach is unique but that would be down to the research you carried out before filming. Only those involved will know how much work you put in, as the viewer is not aware of the questions you posed nor of the editing. The whole thing is very impressive. Well done again.
