New iPhone app celebrates the inanities of Irish politics

Before the world’s attention was turned on Ireland because of the banking crisis, only the Irish themselves were aware of the grammatical liberties taken by these supposedly educated, but nonetheless and in many cases – lamentably – elected individuals. But now an app available on the Apple App Store created by Irish firm Autopilot contains 80 hilarious clips to show a more savvy, enlightened generation how these politicians use the English language in ways that were never intended.
